The woman behind the celebrations.
I've always been the family organizer.
Holidays, birthdays, milestone celebrations, and just about anything that brings people together somehow find their way onto my calendar and into my imagination. I'm usually the one thinking about the details, making the plans, and figuring out how to make an occasion feel a little more special.
And truthfully? I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'm Suzanne, the founder of Elizanne House. While I love beautiful spaces, thoughtful details, and a perfectly executed celebration, what I love most is the people at the heart of it all.
Because for me, the best part of any gathering has always been watching everyone enjoy themselves, knowing they feel welcomed, cared for, and free to simply be in the moment.
My Favorite Love Story

My favorite love story isn't one from a book. It's the one I've been living with my husband, Mike, for the past 30 years.
Together, we've built a life filled with family, laughter, and plenty of memories along the way. These days, one of our greatest joys is spending time with our adult children and their families.

After three decades of marriage, I have a special appreciation for weddings. Of course, I love the romance, the anticipation, and the beauty of the day. But I also know that the real magic is everything that comes afterward—the traditions you create, the ordinary days that become cherished memories, and the life you build together.
Perhaps that's why weddings hold such a special place in my heart. I know firsthand just how meaningful the beginning of that story can be.
Beyond the Celebrations
When I'm not planning something, there's a good chance you'll find me on the tennis court, tending to my ever-growing collection of plants, or spending time with our two golden retrievers, Niko and Susie.
I'm also a big college football fan. I love the SEC, and when Ole Miss is playing, you can be sure I'm cheering on the Rebels. A little friendly competition is always welcome around here!
And while I enjoy the excitement of a good football Saturday, I'm equally happy getting lost in a beautiful love story. Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book of all time, and I've watched the movie more times than I can count.
I suppose I'm a bit of a combination—romantic at heart, competitive by nature, happiest surrounded by family, and always looking for a reason to celebrate something.
Let's Get Acquainted
One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to know the people behind the celebrations.
I love hearing how couples met, learning about their families and traditions, and discovering the little things that make their stories unique.
And I hope that when we meet, you'll feel like you're sitting down with someone who genuinely wants to know you, who will listen, laugh with you, and care about the things that matter most.
I'd love to hear your story. And perhaps, over a cup of coffee, we can start dreaming about the beautiful celebration ahead.
Warmly,
Suzanne
